| Description | To design and install a 2.5MW standby diesel generator at Williams Bayou Pumping Station (WBPS) to serve as an emergency backup power source for the four electrically-driven raw water pumps, which currently are not equipped with a source of backup electrical power. The project also includes the design and installation of seven variable frequency drives (VFDs) for the station’s seven raw water pumps to protect them against power surges and phase losses.
