Construction Manager Agent for the Harris County Hospital District dba Harris Health System

Scope of Work: 1. Develop and establish acceptable estimate and budget at conceptual level. 2. Develop and establish overall project schedule (design, procurement, construction). 3. Assist in developing design packages. 4. Assist in evaluating architectural firm’s proposals. 5. Provide constructability reviews during design phase of the project. 6. Monitor progress of the project architects as it relates to established design schedules. 7. Recommend cost savings/value engineering options for the owner’s consideration. 8. Evaluate value engineering and potential cost saving alternatives: Price alternative systems. Price alternative materials, details and construction methods. Check availability and lead times of building systems, materials & equipment Review systems and details for constructability & economy. 9. Recommend bid alternates where appropriate. 10. Evaluate bids for compliance with project requirements (budgets and schedules).
