NJDEP Remediation System Operations and Maintenance Term Contract

The purpose of this Blanket P.O. is to provide operation, maintenance, and monitoring services at a wide range of sites with varying complexity. This Blanket P.O. focuses on work related to pollution problems that are occurring below the ground surface and typically involve leaking underground storage tanks or chemical spills that percolate into the soil and contaminate ground water and generate contaminated soil gas. Typical situations involve toxic or explosive gas problems in sewers and basements or threats to potable water supplies. Dry cleaners, gasoline stations, and industrial sites are frequent sources of the contamination addressed by this Blanket P.O. The Operation & Maintenance (O&M) of collection and treatment systems of contaminated ground water or soil gas are the usual projects involved in this Blanket P.O. Landfill cap maintenance, leachate and gas collection, control, and treatment are other areas of potential O&M services.
