Description

The work consists of removal and replacement of 15 rooftop exhaust fans/hood fans, installation of 6 individual classroom toilet room exhaust fans and associated curb adapters, control work, electrical work and testing/balancing. Project scope is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Demolition of existing roof mounted exhaust fans (curbs shall remain). 2. Disconnect electrical power at existing fans, reconnect power to new exhaust fans and provide new switches. 3. Provide roof curb adapters, with integral backdraft damper trays, on existing curbs. 4. Provide new exhaust fans. 5. Provide air test and balance of new exhaust fans and air distribution systems. 6. Replacement of two kitchen hood fans (under alternate bid). 7. Installation of six individual toilet room exhaust fans (under alternate bid). 8. Replacement of two gymnasium exhaust/relief fans (under alternate bid). 9. Other miscellaneous work as shown or required by the Construction Documents.
