Sturgeon City Asbestos Removal

a. The work covered by this section includes the removal and disposal of materials containing asbestos and the related procedures required to protect workers and the public from contact with airborne asbestos fibers. b. The work shall also include the development of a site-specific plan for the asbestos abatement by a State of North Carolina accredited designer. c. The Contractor shall furnish and is responsible for all costs including, but not limited to: permit fees, containment preparation, sampling, testing, labor, materials, insurance, bonding and equipment necessary to carry out the abatement operations and disposal of all asbestos material in accordance with these specifications, as well as Federal, State and local government regulations.
