Southwest ES Boiler / Chiller Replacement and Controls Upgrade

The project consists of:Base Bid: Removal and replacement of two existing hydronic boilers with three new high efficiency condensing type boilers. Removal and replacement of existing chiller. Conversion of chilled water system pumps to variable flow. Replacement of return and supply fan motors for four air handling units and four return fans and removal of associated inlet vanes. Provision and installation of new VFDs for air handling unit and return fans. Upgrade of existing DDC controls by Alpha Controls and Services, LLC.Alternate Bid No. 1: Replacement of all hot water and chilled water control valves. Conversion of AHU cooling coil control valve piping from 3-way to 2-way.Alternate Bid No. 2: Removal and replacement of existing 50% gpm capacity HW system pumps with new 100% gpm capacity hot water system pumps.A single stipulated sum bid will be received for all the work. It is expected a Mechanical Contractor will be the Prime Contractor with all other required work performed by Subcontractors to the Prime. The Temperature Control Subcontractor will be Alpha Controls proprietary as all existing controls are Alpha.
