Description | For all labor, equipment, and materials required to demolish, remove, and properly dispose of the building and site structures for the old mesa pawn shop. 1. Demolish, remove, and properly dispose of the building and site structures. 2. Contractor is responsible for maintaining a safe work site. 3. Site utility locations have been performed but it is recommended that the contractor obtain his own utility locates prior to starting work. 4. All foundation/footer walls shall be broken off or cut at 18” below grade. 5. Any voids below 18” shall be back filled. 6. There is a small basement, see attached Mesa Pawn Floor Plan.PDF. The top and walls of the basement are to be broke off to 18” below grade. The broken top and walls can be used as part of the backfill. Basement is to be backfilled to final grade. 7. The site shall be cleared of fences, concrete, building, etc., out to the public sidewalk and along the alley. 8. Contractor will be responsible for cutting and capping the water line close to the meter. 9. Contractor will be responsible for cutting and capping the sewer line at the edge of the property line. 10. The sand/oil separator tank along the alley, approximately 2,000 gallon in size, shall be cleared to 18” below grade. The sewer line shall be capped or plugged where it exits the tank. The top and sides of the tank that are cleared, can be used to help backfill the tank. Tank is to be backfilled to finish grade. 11. No asbestos abatement is required. 12. Final site grading shall be smooth with a 2” top layer of ¾” gravel to help prevent dust kick up. |
