PWES Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure

A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit proposals to enter into a contract with a qualified electric vehicle (EV) charging station Vendor for the design, purchase, and installation of hardware and any accompanying software implementation for facilitation and management of electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) for the City of Pittsburgh, Equipment Leasing Authority, hereafter referred to as "Authority." The companies The ELA is seeking to hire an experienced and qualified Vendor that can provide a turnkey solution of all equipment, corresponding software and networking, accessories, warranties, and deliveries required to install eight (8) EVSE on the City of Pittsburgh, Bureau of Environmental Services' campus; 3001 Railroad Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15201 The Vendor will obtain and comply with all permitting requirements. All design phase deliverables and all other procedures and responsibilities shall be as described in the section below. EV charging stations shall meet, at a minimum, the following specifications and requirements: Level 2 or higher; Minimum output power of 50kW; Ability to charge 396 kwh battery in 8-12 hours; CCS charge connector; and Access control Preference may be given to mobile solutions.
