Description

Bids from United States Bureau of Reclamation to reinforce the east levee of Hog Bayou, upstream of the saltwater gate control structure. The Hog Bayou east levee near the Hog Bayou gate structure has shown unprecedented wear since Hurricane Harvey in August 2017. Increased tide levels, along with the weakening of the levee caused by Harvey, have exacerbated the cuts made by native alligator species.
