Exterior Window Replacement at Avalon Elementary School

Contractor shall remove and dispose of existing window coverings, roller shades. Including removal of bracket and patching/refurbishing adjacent mounting substrate. Contractor shall remove and dispose of existing window systems. Demolition includes removal of existing window assemblies in their entirety, including panning systems, trim, etc. unless noted otherwise. Existing interior stools are to remain (U.N.O.). Following demolition, all exposed substrates that will not be concealed with new window systems and matching trim must be patched and refurbished to match existing adjacent finishes so not to show signs of renovation. All new painting work must be applied to the nearest natural break. Install new windows systems and related accessory items as specified and in accordance with all manufacturer's recommendations and instructions. New window coverings, roller shades shall be installed under separate contract or Alternate Bid to install new windows coverings and related accessory items as specified and in accordance with all manufacturer's recommendations and instructions. Clean glass and wipe down frames, hardware and adjacent surfaces as required to remove resulting construction/renovation residue. Restore all grades, lawns, concrete curbing, sidewalks, asphalt and pavement to pre-construction condition. Contractor shall locate all subsurface wires, cables, pipes and pipeline in the work area prior to construction.
