LED Lighting Retrofit Kits

This Request for Proposals (RFP) is issued by Purchasing Services for the University of Minnesota, Department of Energy Management on the Twin Cities Campus is seeking qualified Responders who are highly adept at custom lighting manufacturing for the purchase and delivery of LED retrofit kits. This RFP is for materials only (LED retrofit kits). No labor or installation is required. This Request for Proposals (RFP) is issued by Purchasing Services for the University of Minnesota, Department of Energy Management on the Twin Cities Campus to retrofit existing linear florescent fixtures with LED retrofit kits at multiple building across campus. The first project location has not been determined on the Twin Cities Campus. It is the intent of the University to have interested Responders provide LED fixtures for two different applications: Standard ceiling grid sized fixtures and custom sized retrofit kits for existing fluorescent fixtures. A complete survey has not been completed. The retrofit kit shall utilize the existing fixture housing to convert the florescent fixtures to a LED fixture without the removal of the existing fixture. NOTE: LED linear tubes are NOT an acceptable solution for the purposes of this proposal. This Request for Proposal seeks Responders highly adept at custom lighting manufacturing.
