The location and description of the proposed work are as follows The project 0000 GI GGI SL69202C is being re-advertised under a contract which also includes project 0000 GI GGI T00901C. Firms that had already obtained contract documents for 0000 GI GGI SL69201C are instructed to destroy them as the contract documents have been revised. All bidders and subcontractors may download the revised project documents from the Contracts and Specifications Website. Contractors that previously registered for the project are advised to register for the re-advertised project. The proposed 0000 GI GGI T0090 01C project is located in Gila County on Golden Hill Road. The project begins at Alberta Drive and extends easterly to West Street. The work consists of constructing a new concrete sidewalk, curb and gutter on one side of the roadway. The work also includes roadway excavation, removing a portion of the existing asphaltic concrete, concrete driveway and sidewalk ramps, new pedestrian handrail, placing riprap and granite mulch, signing, pavement markings and other related work. The time allowed for the completion of the work included in this contract will be 100 working days. The Arizona Department of Transportation, in Accordance With the Provisions of Title Vi of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252.42 U.s.c. 2000d-4) and the Regulations, Hereby Notifies All Bidders That It Will Affirmatively Ensure That Any Contract Entered Into Pursuant to This Advertisement, Disadvantaged Business Enterprises Will Be Afforded Full and Fair Opportunity to Submit Bids in Response to This Invitation and Will Not Be Discriminated Against on the Grounds of Race, Color, or National Origin in Consideration for an Award. The minimum contract-specified goal for participation by Disadvantaged Business Enterprises in the work, as a percentage of the total amount bid, shall be 3.44. This Contract Is Subject to the Provisions of Arizona Revised Statutes Section 42-5075 -- Prime Contracting Classification; Exemptions; Definitions. No Award Will Be Made to Any Contractor Who Is Not a Duly Licensed Contractor in Accordance With Arizona Revised Statutes 32-1101 Through 32-1170.03. All Labor Employed on This Project Shall Be Paid in Accordance With the Minimum Wage Rates Shown in the General Wage Decision. These Rates Have Been Determined in Accordance With the Requirements of the Law and Issued by the Secretary of Labor for This Project. The Wage Scale Is on File in Contracts and Specifications Section and Copies May Be Obtained at All Reasonable Times. A Proposal Guaranty in the Form of Either a Certified or a Cashier's Check Made Payable to the State Treasurer of Arizona for Not Less Than 10 Percent of the Amount of the Bid or in the Form of a Surety (Bid) Bond for 10 Percent of the Amount of the Bid Shall Accompany the Proposal.
