Description

For Purchase of Sodium Permanganate for the Alcove Reservoir A Bid Deposit of five thousand dollars ($5,000) is required. Submit a certified check or bank draft made payable to Treasurer, City of Albany. A bid bond is acceptable. A bid bond or certified check in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount may be required with each bid. If the bid specifies the submission of a list of prices, a bid bond or certified check in the amount of $5,000 may be required with each bid. The certified check or bid bond will be returned upon the awarding of the bid. The successful bidder must comply with Sections 220-223 of the New York State Labor Law and/or section 42-161 of the Code of the City of Albany pertaining to the Albany Living Wage Ordinance. The Albany Water Board reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, and may advertise for new proposals, if, in its or their opinion, the best interests of the Albany Water Board will thereby be promoted. The bidder must be prepared if requested by the Albany Water Board to present evidence of experience, ability and financial standing, as well as a statement as to plant and machinery. Execution of Contract through September 30, 2023 The Albany Water Board reserves the right to award the contract in whole or in part to one or more vendors to the lowest responsible bidder. The Albany Water Board further reserves the right to not make an award if it is in the Albany Water Board's best interest to do so.
