Furnish and Deliver of Powdered Activated Carbon for Bulk Feed Facilities

Notice is hereby given by the City of New Brunswick that sealed bids will be received for the following: FURNISH AND DELIVER OF POWDERED ACTIVATED CARBON FOR BULK FEED FACILITIES SPECIFICATION #106-2023WR. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond payable to the City Treasurer of the City of New Brunswick in the amount of ten percent of the bid, not to exceed twenty thousand ($20,000.00) dollars. Bids for contracts that require a performance bond must also contain a consent of surety. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1963, C.150; P.L. 1975, N.J.A.C. 17:27, N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., P.L. 1977, C.33; P.L. 1999, and with C.238. According to 40A:11-23, the City of New Brunswick is prohibited from receiving bids on Mondays or any day directly following a State or Federal Holiday. These requirements and others are fully detailed in the bid documents. The City Council of the City of New Brunswick reserves the right to reject any and all bids or any part thereof, waive informalities therein, and to award the bid in the best interest of the City.
