Concrete for the City's projects. Purchases will be made throughout the year on an as needed basis. Prices should remain in effect for a period starting January 1, 2023 until December 31, 2023. Blended hydraulic cement, fly ash and slag may be substituted on a pound for pound basis for up to 25% of the design, except for high early strength concrete where no substitution is allowed. Cement Quantity: 610 pounds Design Strength: 28 day strength shall be 4500 psi Slump: Maximum of 4 inches The producer is responsible for quality control ofingredients used to produce the mix. The mix design must be submitted with the bid. An equivalent 4500 psi design previously approved by MODOT for pavement may be used. The City of Mexico reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and to waive any formalities in the bidding
