Description

The City of Del Rio reserves the right to reject any and all statements of qualification, to waive any informalities or irregularities, as it shall deem to be in the best interest of the City. The City of Del Rio currently operates two wastewater treatment plants. Silver Lake Wastewater Treatment Plant is located at 624 Frontera Road and the San Felipe Wastewater Treatment Plant is located at 580 Guyler Lane. The San Felipe Wastewater Treatment Plant treats the south and east sides of town while the Silver Lake Wastewater Treatment Plant treats the west and north sides of town. Both Facilities were designed to treat raw sewage for the City of Del Rio. Without treating raw sewage, the environment, human life and wildlife is at risk of contamination and spreading waterborne diseases. Treating of raw sewage is a requirement from Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ.) if not in compliance, the City could accrue hefty fines and would potentially be placing its citizens at risk. Any questions concerning bid specifics should be addressed to Luis Menchaca, Purchasing Agent via e-mail at Luis.Menchaca@cityofdelrio.com no later than October 27, 2022 at 5 PM. Bids cannot be altered or amended after submission deadline. Any interlineation, alteration, or erasure made before opening by the City must be initialed by the signer of the bid, guaranteeing authenticity. The City of Del Rio reserves the right to reject any and all sealed bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities, as it shall deem to be in the best interest of the City. The offeror shall sign and date the Bid Affidavit (Attachment 1). The person signing the bid must have the authority to bind the firm in a contract. Bids which are not signed and dated in this manner will be rejected.
