ESSER III Flooring Replacement

As of July 20 ,2023 the project as awarded to 3 bidders: Hooker Construction Inc ,Floors & More LLC and E3 Construction Corp , awarded amount not available . Proposals shall be submitted with Proposal Security in the form of Certified Check or acceptable Bid Bond in an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the base bid; such security is to be forfeited as liquidated damages, not penalty, by any bidder who fails to carry out the terms of the proposal A one hundred percent (100%) Performance-Payment Bond issued by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Mississippi will be required within ten (10) days after the successful bidder has been notified of the award of the contract to him. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities. A pre-bid conference may be held prior to the bid letting. The Architect will notify planholders of the date, time, and location of the pre-bid conference. All planholders are encouraged to attend. WORK TO BE EXECUTED UNDER THIS CONTRACT A. The project consists of flooring replacements at the following campuses: 1. Guntown Middle School, 1539 Main Street, Guntown, Mississippi 38849. 2. Mooreville Middle School, 964 County Road 1409, Mooreville, Mississippi 38857. 3. Mooreville High School, 115 County Road 1429, Mooreville, Mississippi 38857. 4. Plantersville Middle School, 2657 Main Street, Plantersville, Mississippi 38862. 5. Saltillo High School, 146 Tiger Drive, Saltillo, Mississippi 38866. 6. Shannon Middle School, 232 Cherry Street, Shannon, Mississippi 38868. 7. Shannon High School, 218 Cherry Street, Shannon, Mississippi 38868. B. The work shall include all labor, materials, equipment, services, and related activities and procedures necessary to the complete construction including the buildings, site work, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and other improvements as shown on the drawings and required in the specifications (Project Manual). 1.03 WORK TO BE EXECUTED BY THE OWNER UNDER SEPARATE CONTRACT A. The Owner reserves the right to award contracts for additional work by others during the course of this project. The Contractor and all its subcontractors shall cooperate fully with all such parties in scheduling and performing any additional work as may be required by the Owner.
