Description

Professional services for the preparation of plans, specifications, cost estimates, and construction administration for improvements to classroom ventilation along with window and select door replacement at the Duffy Elementary School, 95 Westminster Drive, West Hartford, CT 06107. 1. Design replacement of new windows and selected exterior doors with main emphasis on the classrooms. Make recommendations to manufacturers and type of systems. Town presently likes to use YKK Systems. 2. Provide recommendations as to the best choice of HVAC Systems whether the town utilizes the present hot water system or abandons it, uses variable refrigerant volume with heat pump, or roof top units. Provide cost analysis and feasibility along with opinions on the best long-term strategy for the school. 3. Design of new HVAC System. 4. Submit all paperwork required for available incentives and grants. 5. Conformance to all Federal, State and local codes.
