2021-2022-2023 Street Sweeping Services

The City of Fairfield desires to contract a professional street cleaning service for a period of three (3) years, beginning immediately upon bid award. 1.2 The City of Fairfield has approximately one hundred thirty (130) Miles of roadway to be swept, equaling approximately two hundred fifty-six (256) Curb miles and sixteen (16) public parking lots equaling an estimated 795,388 square feet. 1.3 The sweeping season shall consist of approximately forty-four (44) weeks, weather permitting. If weather permits during the winter months, the contractor may be required to continue to sweep, maintaining the frequency as closely as possible, as directed by The Director of Public Works. Additional sweeping periods will be paid on a per diem basis consistent with the terms of this Contract
