Description | This project includes, but is not limited to, the installation of a Softball Field at the Town of Coventry Miller Richardson Park located at the Town's current Transfer Station in Coventry, Connecticut. The Contractor shall be responsible for but not limited to: maintaining overall site conditions, maintaining permanent access roads, installing and maintaining erosion control measures, demolition of existing Transfer Station, installation of Softball Field and restoration of the site. The work shall be performed in accordance with the requirements of the "State of Connecticut Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Roads, Bridges and Incidental Construction, Form 818, 2020" including all Supplemental Specifications, and the project specifications. The perspective bidder shall make themselves aware of the project area prior to submitting bids. Bidder shall utilize the bid form, 10% bid bond, projected contractor's schedule, qualifications of bidder, and non-collusion forms in the manual for bid submittal. Bidders are requested to notify the Town Engineer if they are a prospective bidder. The Town of Coventry reserves the right to reject all bids, or to waive any technical defects, and to make an award to the party determined to be the lowest cost, responsive and responsible bidder if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the Town.
