Arlington Municipal Airport Improvements

Removal and replacement of the Airport’s perimeter fence, including: Base Bid – Removal of existing fence on north, east, and south sides and northwest corner of airport (approx. 12,700 LF); installation of security fence on east and south sides and northwest corner of airport (approx. 10,980 LF); installation of wildlife exclusion fence on west and north sides of airport (approx. 7,450 LF); installation of one (1) automatic sliding security gate; installation of eight manual access vehicle swing gates and 9 pedestrian swing gates; except for the southwest portion of fence line, the proposed fence line will generally follow the same alignment as the existing fence line, meaning the existing fence will need to be removed prior to the installation of the proposed fence; associated and complimentary work. Additive Alternate No. 1 – Wildlife Deterrent Fence Skirt for Wildlife Exclusion Fence (approx. 7,450 LF). Additive Alternate No. 2 – 18" Wide x 6" Deep Concrete Base for Wildlife Exclusion Fence (approx. 7,450 LF). Additive Alternate No. 3 – 18" Wide x 6" Deep Concrete Base for Security Fence (approx. 10,375 LF). Additive Alternate No. 4 – Clearing and Grubbing along Fence Lines (approx. 4,908 LF).
