Description | ** As per the Owner the project has been cancelled. Editorial Content Team is actively seeking updated information. The intent of this Bid is to obtain a Well Contractor to furnish all materials, labor, equipment and all other appurtenances required to successfully complete the Mechanical Integrity Test (MIT) for one (1) deep well located in, Port Charlotte, Florida. There will not be a Pre-Bid Conference for this project. Any questions can be answered by contacting Diane Smaltz, Contract Specialist at 941.743.1380 or email: Diane.Smaltz@CharlotteCountyFL.gov. Bids may be withdrawn by request of the bidder prior to the scheduled opening. Error or negligence on the part of the bidder in preparing the bid confers no right for withdrawal of the bid after it has been opened The County reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all bids, to waive irregularities and technicalities, and to request resubmission of bids. Also, the County reserves the right to accept all or any part of the bid and to increase or decrease quantities to meet additional or reduced requirements of the County. Any sole response received may be rejected by the County depending on available competition and timely needs of the County. Permits and licenses necessary for the prosecution of the work shall be secured and paid for by the Contractor, unless otherwise specified. (A list of County permit fees are attached.) The Contractor shall give all notices and comply with all laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations bearing on the conduct of the work as drawn and specified. If the Contractor observes that the specifications and drawings are at variance therewith, he shall promptly notify the County in writing, and any necessary changes shall be adjusted as provided in the Contract for changes in the work. If the Contractor performs any work knowing it to be contrary to such laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations, and without such notice to the County, he shall bear all costs arising therefrom |
