CAED Beall Hall 2nd Floor Rehabilitation-Kent - C270M7 - Portage County

These funds will be used to renovate the second floor of Beall Hall into a satellite facility for the College of Architecture and Environmental Design (CAED), which is currently housed in the John Elliot Center for Architecture and Environmental Design. Continuous enrollment growth in the CAED program has led to various locations throughout campus hosting students to meet the demand. The space will be renovated to provide between 150 to 200 additional studio desks in an adaptive re-use of an existing university building. This project is in included in the Legislative Service Commission, Inc. FY 2023-2024 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of June 7, 2022, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
