This Project Includes but is Not Limited to Removal and Landfill Disposal of Approximately 3,117 Cubic Yards of Wetland Solids; Excavation of Wetland Deep Water Zones; Compacting in-situ Clay Liner; Supplying and Installing Approximately 1,650 Cubic Yards of Topsoil; Supplying and Planting Approximately 6,168 Aquatic Wetland Plant Plugs; Removing Electrical Panel, Wire, and Six Surface Aerators; and Improving the Tops of Wetland Cell Berms by Lime Stabilizing the Soil and Installing a Gravel Drive Surface. Question Deadline 04/12/2023 at 12:00 PM CT All Inquiries and Questions Regarding the Plans, Specifications, and/or Any Part Thereof online Engineer Will Provide to Prospective Bidders of Record Such Addenda as Engineer Considers Necessary in Response to Questions Received. Proposals Shall Be Accompanied by Either a Bid Bond From a Surety Satisfying the Requirements Specified Below for the Performance Bond, Payment Bond and Any Other Bonds Set Forth in the Contract Documents, or Certified Check Upon a National or State Bank in an Amount Not Less Than 5 Percent (5%) of the Total Maximum Bid Price, Payable Without Recourse to the City of Denison as a Guarantee That the Bidder Will Within Ten (10) Days After Notice of Award Enter Into a Contract and Furnish a Performance Bond, Payment Bond and Any Other Bonds Set Forth in the Contract Documents Upon the Forms Provided, Each in the Amount of 100 Percent (100%) of the Contract Price, From a Surety Licensed to Conduct Business in the State Where the Project is Located and Named in the Current List of "Surety Companies Acceptable on Federal Bonds" as Published in Circular 570 (Amended) by the Audit Staff Bureau of Accounts, U.S. Treasury Department. The City Reserves the Right to Waive Any Minor Informalities or Irregularities in Any Proposal. The City Also Reserves the Right to Reject Any and/or All Proposals, to Award Contracts for Individual Products or Services as May Appear Advantageous, and in Accordance With the Law, to Negotiate Separately in Any Manner Necessary to Serve the Best Interest of the City. No Bid May Be Withdrawn Within Forty-five (45) Days After the Date on Which Bids Are Opened.
