Bid Proposals must be submitted with Bid Security in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the Bidder s proposed price to complete Project construction and obligations under the Contract Documents. Bid Security shall be in the form of cash, cashiers/certified check payable to the District, or Bid Bond in the form and content included with the Contract Documents. Submittal of Bid Security shall be in accordance with the Information for Bidders Rejection of All Bid Proposals; Waiver of Irregularities . Project Information: Irvine Valley College - Live Oak Terrace Shade Structures and Related Site Improvements. B. Project Location: 5500 Irvine Center Drive, Irvine CA 92618. Scope- Description of Work: Exterior Site Work: One (1) new custom shade structure and one (1) new PC-Approved Shade Structure (DSA PreApproved Structure) (Additive Alternate Bid Item). Site demolition, removals and patching and replacement/repairing to accomplish the work. New concrete stairs-on-grade and steel handrails and new concrete slabon-grade adjacent to the sides of the existing stage concrete slab-ongrade. Four (4) new Owner-Furnished, Contractor-Installed (OFCI) USB port/light pedestals; extend conduits to new pedestals as required. Associated electrical data and power cabling and connections as shown on the Electrical Drawings and referenced in the Electrical/Communications Specifications. Interior Work (Existing Performing Arts Center (PAC) Building: Conduit/pathway, cabling, appurtenances and connections through existing conduits to existing IDF Room. The Preliminary Cost Estimate to complete Project construction is $275,000.00
