Sealed bids are requested by the San Antonio Water System for the construction of approximately 106 LF of 8-inch open cut sewer main, 744 LF of 10-inch open cut sewer main, 299 LF of 12-inch open cut sewer main, 89 LF of 15-inch open cut sewer main, 87 LF of 18-inch open cut sewer main, 195 LF of 24-inch open cut sewer main, 2,221 LF of 10-inch pipe-burst sewer main, 383 LF of 15-inch cured-in-place pipe, 391 LF of 24-inch jacking, boring or tunneling, 151 LF of 42-inch jacking, boring or tunneling within or crossing Union Pacific Railroad right-of-way for the Package 8 - Small Diameter Under Major Highways Project, SAWS For questions regarding this solicitation, technical questions or additional information, please contact Roxanne Lockhart, Contract Administrator, in writing via email to: roxanne.lockhart@saws.org or by fax to (210) 233-4438 until 2:00 PM (CDT) on July 13, 2022. Please be advised that Bidders are prohibited from communicating with any other SAWS staff, the Consultant, the Developer, or City of San Antonio officials regarding this IFB up until the contract is awarded as outlined in the Instructions to Bidders. Electronic bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price. (Or, if providing SAWS with a cashier's check or certified check in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price, SAWS will request this within 24 hours from the apparent low bidder.
