Description

This project is for a lease-leaseback construction services for the Modernization at North Country Elementary School ("Project"), located at 3901 Little Rock Drive, Antelope, CA 95843. This Project consists of the modernization at an existing elementary school, site improvements, and add alternate scopes of work including the following: Existing Elementary School Modernization Fire alarm replacement, digital intercom/clock bell/fiber backbone replacement, restrooms and drinking fountain upgrades to provide access compliance, assistive listening system, casework/sink upgrades, and paint in all classrooms and workrooms. Site Improvements Parking lot and playground hardscape seal and stripe, chainlink and ornamental site fencing, path of travel improvements and signage upgrades to provide access compliance, and new trash enclosure. Additive Alternates 1. Replace gas and water valves, as shown on plans and specifications. 2. Replace carpet and rubber base in all classrooms and workrooms, with the exception of buildings M and N, as shown on plans and specifications. 3. Replace electrical transformer, as shown on plans and specifications. 4. Exterior paint on all permanent buildings, including but not limited to walls/body, trim, facia. 5. Demolish six (6) portable classrooms, buildings M and N.* All prospective general contractors, mechancical contractors, electrical contractors and plumbing contractors must be pre qualified prior to submission of proposals in order for the District to receive funds pursuant to the Leroy F. Greene School Facilities Act of 1998 for funding that involves a projected construction expenditure of one million dollars ($1,000,000) or more. The questionnaire can be found on the district website: All questionnaires's must be received ten (10) calendar days prior to the due date for the submittal of proposals. The list of approved contractor's will be posted five (5) calendar days prior the due date for the submittal of proposals. Questions due by May 16, 2023
