Description

Provide one steel-hulled vessel of any design (other than a flat-topped deck barge) at least 44 feet in length, 12 feet in width, and with a vertical height no greater than 20 feet. The contractor will be responsible for all cleaning and preparation of the vessel prior to sinking including, but not limited, to the following: 1. All loose or buoyant debris removed. 2. Watertight doors, hatches, deck plates removed or welded open. 3. All hazardous materials removed, including petroleum products, batteries, mercury gauges, thermometers, etc. 4. Oil and fuel drained and flushed from engines, bilges, steering and other hydraulic oil reservoirs and lines. 5. Fuel tanks, ballast tanks and fuel lines drained, cleaned and flushed. 6. All internal voids permanently opened.
