Fiber Optic Cabling Project From Bldg 6200 to Bldg 7212

This Statement of Objectives (SOO) defines the requirements for the Contractor to furnish, install and test a new corning 36-strand single-mode armored fiber optic cable (FOC) from Building 6200 Core Node to Building 7212 Core Node. In general, the scope of this project will include furnishing all materials, labor, supplies, and equipment necessary for the installation of a 36-strand single mode armored cable as outlined below. All parts and pieces to be used will be submittal items for 2d Communications Squadron (CS) approval prior to Contractor ordering. The Contractor shall provide all equipment, tools, materials, supplies, transportation, labor, supervision, management, and other incidentals necessary to meet the requirements as stated in this SOO. All equipment, supplies, and materials provided shall be new and not refurbished. All permits shall be ran by Contractor or Multiple Award Construction Contract office (MACC) to include, but not limited to, work clearance request, digging permits, airfield construction waiver, etc.
