Description

Contract, if awarded, will be on lump sum basis. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after time has been called on date of bid opening. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check made payable to the Macon Housing Authority, in amount not less than 5% of the base bid. Both a Performance and Payment Bond will be required in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price. Attention is called to the provisions for equal employment opportunity and to the requirement that not less than minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the specifications must be paid on this project. The Macon Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. All parties receiving Bid Documents are deemed by receipt to acknowledge the Architect's copyright to the documents contained on the Bid Documents. The documents may be used only for the purpose of preparing a bid for the RENOVATIONS AT ROFF AVENUE/MARKWALTER HOMES, SHAKESPEARE HOMES AND BOBBY JONES HOMES, AND STORM DRAINAGE REPLACEMENT AT SCATTERED SITES for the Macon Housing Authority. Use of these documents for any other purpose is not permitted under any circumstances.
