East 112th Avenue Over Fulton Ditch Bridge Replacement

The E. 112th Avenue Bridge is located approximately 2,800 feet west of US Highway 85 on E. 112th Avenue. The existing bridge carries nearly 3,000 vehicles per day and provides access to a number of industrial properties along Brighton Road, as well as numerous residential communities in the area. The bridge has been widened during its service life by 18’. The original bridge is a reinforced concrete double tee structure in which the original steel piles are severely deteriorated. The widened portion of the bridge is in fairly good condition and consists of slab girders on steel pilings. It is critical that the bridge structure be replaced to ensure the safety of users. The City of Commerce City is requesting bids for the replacement of this bridge. The new bridge is to be constructed over the Fulton Ditch. Construction will occur when water is flowing through the ditch. Prospective bidders are to adhere to attached Fulton Ditch Agreement.
