| Description | In general, the work consists of demolition of existing heating and ventilation equipment serving wings B5 and B6; installation of a new packaged penthouse air handling units on the roof of wings B5 and B6; and installation of new supply air, return air and exhaust air distribution systems for wings B5 and B6. Supply air distribution includes new VAV reheat boxes. The existing hot water system will be extended to serve the existing VAV reheat coils and AHU preheat coils. The existing chilled water system will be extended to serve the AHU chilled water coils. Work includes new DDC control systems to support the new mechanical systems and system upgrades. New ceilings and LED lighting are being provided in Wings B5 and B6. General trades, electrical, plumbing and fire protection work will support the upgrades. |
