Water Supply Facilities Rehabilitation

The Village of Glendale Heights for the project entitled Water Supply Facilities Rehabilitation The proposed improvements consist primary of the following: 1. All required labor, supervision and materials to render complete and fully functional electrical, mechanical, and SCADA systems. 2. Full time superintendence. 3. Installation and maintenance of erosion control measures, site clearing and grading. 4. Site restoration and maintenance through acceptance and re-establishment of vegetation. 5. Removal, relocation, or installation of certain site utilities as outlined within the plans. 6. Demolition of the existing below grade booster station located at the Burdette West site, including utilities to/from this structure. 7. Minor site piping modifications including the addition of two hydrant connections to the reservoir supply lines 8. Selective demolition of elements of the existing Burdette West Pump Station structure, including doors, roofing, louvers, and other items. 9. Demolition of existing equipment within the Burdette West Pump Station including pumps, piping, valves, electrical and HVAC systems. 10. Installation of new architectural components to the Burdette West Pump Station including thin brick facing, truss roofing system, new doors, louvers, and other items. 11. Installation of new equipment within the Burdette West Pump Station including pumps, piping, valves, electrical and HVAC systems. 12. Demolition of an existing altitude valve vault located at the Brandon Court site and connection of existing site water piping at this location. 13. Rehabilitation of the existing below grade booster station at the Brandon Court site. 14. Rehabilitation of the chlorination building equipment at the Brandon Court site. 15. Testing of systems and training of operations personnel. 16. Preparation and submission of operations and maintenance manuals. 17. Warranties as specified in the Contract Documents.
