Description

Estimate cost is $200k - $600k. This Project Consists of the Removing of Approximately 2,200 Linear Feet of a Decorative Brick Perimeter Wall and Replacing With New Fencing Located Along Powhaton Road in Aurora for the Southshore Metropolitan District #1. The Proposed Fence Shall Be Constructed in the Same General Location as the Existing Fence. The Common Fence Runs Along Multiple Private Properties. The Contractor Will Be Required to Video All Existing Conditions Prior to the Start of Construction. The Contractor Will Be Responsible for Coordinating With Each Individual Property Owner to Install Temporary Fencing for Protection of Pets and Personal Property and Will Also Be Responsible for Giving a 48- Hour Notice to Each Individual Property Owner on the Removal and Replacement of Their Section of Fence. The Goal is to Start This Project in Early June 2023 and Complete Within 60 Calendar Days. The Southshore Metropolitan District #1 Presently Anticipates Issuing the Notice of Award on or About April 12, 2023. A Bidder to Whom a Contract is Awarded Will Be Required to Furnish a Certificate of Specified Insurance Coverages as Specified in Exhibit C of the Independent Contractor Agreement. No Bid May Be Withdrawn for a Period of Forty-five (45) Days After the Date the Bids Are Opened. Owners Rights Reserved - the Owner Reserves the Right to Accept or Reject Any and All Bids, to Waive Any Informality or Technicality in Any Bid, to Postpone the Award of the Contract for a Period Not Exceeding Forty-five (45) Days After the Bid Opening, All According to the Best Interests of the Owner.
