Description | The Proposed Work Generally Includes the Construction/ Reconstruction of Handicapped Accessible Curb Ramps Located Across the Township of Chesterfield, as Well as Related Improvements. This Contract Is Subject to Us Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant Program Regulations and Federal Labor Standards Provisions. Notice Is Hereby Given. This Is a Section 3 Project of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, and, to the Greatest Extent Feasible, Opportunities for Training and Employment Must Be Given to Low and Moderate Income Persons Residing Within the Project Area; the Project Must Utilize Businesses Located in or Owned in Substantial Part by Persons Residing Within the Project Area. Bidders Are Required to Comply With the Requirements of N.j.s.a. 10:5-31 Et Seq and N.j.a.c. 17:27. Each Bid Must Be Accompanied by (I) All Documents Listed on the Bid Document Submission Checklist, as Applicable, and (Ii) a Bid Guarantee in an Amount Not Less Than Ten Percent (10%) of the Total Bid Price as Established in the Bid, Not to Exceed Twenty Thousand Dollars and Zero Cents ($20,000.00). The Bid Guarantee Must Be in the Form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check, or Cashier's Check, Must Be Drawn to the Order of the Township of Chesterfield and Must Be Delivered Simultaneous With the Sealed Bid. The Township of Chesterfield Reserves the Right to (I) Reject All Bids Pursuant to N.j.s.a. 40a:11-13.2 and (Ii) to Waive Minor Informalities and/or Non-material Exceptions in Any Bid Should It Be in the Interest of the Township of Chesterfield to Do So. |
