| Description | This is for the construction of the Subtitle D Landfill Cell 7 Expansion and the C&D Landfill Phase 7 Expansion at the Buncombe County Solid Waste Management Facility in Alexander, North Carolina. Cell 7 construction will consist of an 13.5-acre Subtitle D landfill expansion, including earthwork, 18-inch thick compacted clay liner, 60-mil HDPE geomembrane, leachate collection system including 24-inch thick stone protective cover, leachate pumping station and force main, piping infrastructure, access roads, erosion control, Sediment Pond No. 2, and site stabilization. Phase 7 construction will consist of an 5.5-acre C&D landfill expansion, including earthwork, access roads, erosion control, and site stabilization. |
