Description | The District is not responsible for proposals sent via US Mail, UPS, Federal Express, or by any other delivery service. It is the Proposer's responsibility to ensure that their proposal is delivered to the Purchasing Department's office by the proper time. No oral, telegraphic, electronic, facsimile, telephone proposals or modifications will be considered unless specified. Proposals received after the scheduled Notice of Request for Proposals submittal time will be returned unopened. The District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive any discrepancy or technicality, and to award the contract for goods and services to other than the lowest proposal. The award of contract, if made by the District, will be to the qualified firm whose proposal best complies with all the requirements set forth in the proposal documents and whose proposal, in the opinion of the District (while complying with all legal requirements), is in the best interest of the District, taking into consideration all aspects of the Proposer's response, including the total net cost. Each proposal must conform and be responsive to the proposal documents. A Proposer may withdrawa proposal by letter or in person prior to the submission deadline. No Proposer may withdraw theirproposal for a period of thirty (30) days after the date set for the submission of the proposals.
