Description

Owner Office Greenfield District / Capital Program Mgmt Contract Type On Call Compensation Method Negotiated Labor Rate Two Step Scoring No Allowable Profit Rate 8.30% Plus Overhead Factor Is Federal Funding Involved Yes # of Firms to Select 4 Approximate # of Assignments Between 0 And 20 Maximum Contract Amount $3,000,000.00 Contract Term Four (4) year contract. On Call The selected firms shall provide construction inspection services for the Greenfield District of INDOT as needs arise on construction contracts. Assignments may also be made to other districts with the consent of the consultant. INDOT anticipates needing Project Engineers/Supervisors and Inspectors during the course of this contract. INDOT may require personnel to work in any season, work for up to twelve (12) hours per day, or work at night. The Consultant's personnel shall work under Area Engineers, Project Engineers, or Project Supervisors provided by INDOT. INDOT will control the hours and staffing of personnel. The consultant shall furnish all construction field testing equipment necessary to sample and test materials in accordance with INDOT procedures. The consultant shall provide personnel local to the Greenfield District such that lodging expenses will not be incurred for assigned locations within 50 miles of the district office. The Letter of Interest (LOI) must specify the names of the personnel who will be supplying the services on the construction contracts. Also, a map showing the locations of these personnel must be provided in the LOI. Personnel identified in the LOI who are not full time employees at the time of LOI submittal shall be identified with explanation of employment status. The LOI must identify the specific subject area certifications that personnel have obtained through the INDOT Certified Technician Program (CTP) unless the personnel are exempt. Information on this program can be found at: http://www.in.gov/indot/2403.htm. INDOT will not reimburse for any time or expense incurred in obtaining certifications at any time. All On-Call contract services are on an as-needed basis and there is a possibility that no assignments will be made. The selected consultant's fee proposal shall be due 15 calendar days after the selection date for this RFP item. These contracts will utilize the INDOT eInvoice application.
