Description	The Newark Bay – Hudson County Extension (NB-HCE) is a primary corridor connecting the Tri-State region to New York City via the Holland Tunnel. Over the next 25 years, continued increases in commercial and passenger vehicular traffic will place new travel demands on the entire length of the 8.1 mile NB-HCE. The corridor has insufficient capacity to accommodate the existing, much less, the anticipated increased future demand. The burden of this additional traffic demand will affect the NB-HCE mainline and Interchanges 14A, 14B, 14C, and connection to Jersey City and the Holland Tunnel at the eastern terminus of the NB-HCE.
