Wood and Sandusky Counties WA Mowing and Tillage FY23

This purchase if for contracted services to mow future tree planting areas, followed by tilling tree rows this fall, in preparation for tree planting in the future. All work shall be conducted Monday through Friday unless prior approval is obtained from the ODNR, Division of Wildlife project agent. All vegetation mowing will need to be done between September 15th and October 15th, 2022. All tillage work will need to be completed by October 30th, 2022. Extensions for work may be granted at the discretion of the project manager but are not likely for the Sandusky County Wildlife Area 1 due to use during deer seasons. The contractor is required to contact the ODNR, Division of Wildlife project manager at least two business days prior to initially entering the property for work. Please submit a quote in Ohiobuys by the bidding deadline. Bidders are encouraged to visit each site prior to bidding. The selected vendor will not receive payment until all products and services have been received as per the above specifications and deadlines listed in this document. If the successful bidder does not complete the work as specified above, or exhibit work progress during ideal weather conditions the ODNR, Division of Wildlife reserves the right to pro-rate the payment or cancel the purchase order.
