SECTION 00 00 10 – ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS NOTICE TO SUBCONTRACTORS / SUPPLIERS Sealed Bids for the Base will be received General Contractors by the Owner no later than 1:00 PM, on Thursday, March 23 at the Administration Building of Okanogan School District No. 105, 115 Rose St, Okanogan, WA 98840; sealed bids for the alternate bids will be received from select General Contractors by the Owner no later than 1:30 PM, at Okanogan School District No. 105, 115 Rose St., Okanogan, WA 98840. For the construction of: Okanogan School District No. 105 Okanogan Classroom Addition Okanogan, WA 98840 A single combined Bid is requested for all associated work within each section. Note that the costs associated with the bid and any additional work, exclusion and/or clarifications must be clearly provided with bid. Bids will be opened with the Owner and the bidders present at the aforementioned time and place and read orally. The Owner will analyze and a bid will be selected based on bid price, budget, scope of work proposal, exclusions/additions and other criteria deemed important to the Owner and per Bidding Specifications. Bids received after the aforementioned time will not be considered. Each Bid shall be submitted in accordance with project bidding and contract document requirements and shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond, Certified Check, or Cashier's Check made payable to Okanogan School District No. 105, 115 Rose St., Okanogan, WA 98840, in the amount of not less than 5 percent (5%) of the total amount of the base bid. A meeting for all parties interested in bidding on the project will be held at the Administration Building of Okanogan School District No. 105, 115 Rose St, Okanogan, WA 98840 (same place as Bid Opening) and then we shall go tour the site. Meeting time, Thursday, March 9, 2023, at 1:00 PM. Attendance is recommended for all General Contractors interested in submitting a Bid on the project.
