Henrico Jail West Facility - Roof System Replacement Project

The Work consists total removal and replacement with a new Fully Adhered 60 Mil TPO roof system on roof areas A, B, C, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y & Z, and a new 2-Ply Modified Bitumen Membrane roof system on roof areas D & N. The new roof system shall be installed over the existing concrete roof deck which shall be properly prepared and primed with asphalt primer prior to a new self-adhered SBS modified membrane base sheet being installed. Several identified areas of wet insulation were found during a recent infrared moisture survey and the location of wet areas are shown on the provided roof plan drawings. The new system consists of a new 60 mil fully adhered TPO single ply or 2-Ply Modified Bitumen Membrane roof system including new SBS self-adhered base sheet, new high thermal flat and tapered insulation, new high density cover board and required associated roof system accessories. The total roof area included in this project is approximately 90,102 square feet excluding wall and roof penetration flashings. Membrane manufacturers supplied pre-manufactured ANSI/SPRI ES-1 compliant metal edge components will be required on this project. The building will remain fully occupied during construction and temporary protective measures will be required. The Project is located at 4317 E. Parham Road, Henrico, VA 23294.
