Water Main Replacement - Mountain Road and Willow Street - City of Danbury

Public parks are important for a community as they provide space for people to enjoy the outdoors, engage in physical activity and interact with others. The boardwalk and sidewalks that surround the pond are not currently ADA accessible. Ensuring people, regardless of their physical/cognitive disability, have access to recreational amenities, like the proposed enhancements, is important. Local parks provide affordable access to various forms of exercise, like walking, birdwatching, or fishing which bring people together. This project is in included in the City of Parkersburg FY 2021-2026 CIP. As of April 05, 2023, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
