Zuni - New Well Drilling and Testing

Work involves the procurement of a well driller, drilling a 4.5-inch Class IIB well or better, water quality sampling and compiling a well completion report. The Contractor’s signature herein is an acknowledgement of the following restrictions and assumptions: 1. Well construction shall be minimum Class II-B 2. Location has been predetermined and must be strictly followed (shown as New Well #1 in Contractor Exhibit) 3. Cement mortar grout with pit casing shall be used in accordance with waterworks regulations. A member of VDH staff shall present during grouting. Contractor shall coordinate with the county and VDH prior to grouting. 4. A Water Well Completion Report (GW-2) is required and shall be provided upon completion. 5. A Well capacity test for yield and drawdown must be run for at least 48 hours and documented. Well must yield a minimum of 75gpm. 6. A series of Bacteriological, Chemical, and Radiological samples shall be required by VDH in conjunction with this project (fluoride being a main concern).
