Description | DESCRIPTION. The National Park Service, Golden Gate National Recreation Area (GOGA), has a requirement for test for residual lead dust on surfaces, prepare a scope of work for the clean up of the contaminated surfaces, prepare a detailed cost estimate for the clean up, and provide clearance testing following the clean up including a written report for the East Wing of Park Headquarters, Building 201 (East Wing). The consultant contractor will conduct wipe testing for lead dust (and possibly other metals or contaminants as determined necessary by consulting contractor during work plan development) before and after cleaning of building, furniture, and equipment surfaces. The cleaning of the residual dust containing lead, and possibly other metals or contaminants on the building, furniture, and equipment surfaces is by separate contract. The work under this scope is required to be performed by an American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABHI) Certified Industrial Hygienist and/or a California Department of Public Health (DPH) Lead Related Construction Inspector/Assessor and Project Monitor who shall report their findings and recommendations in a written report. |
