Description | Objectives for Solid Waste Collection Program: 1. To organize collection of municipal solid waste from school facilities under one service provider. 2. The selected vendor will be an active partner in the City of Hartford’s recycling program. The selected vendor will provide community benefits by assisting the City’s schools in complying with recycling requirements, increasing the level of recycling and providing recycling training and supplies. 3. The selected vendor will take on the responsibility of coordinating equipment service. This will entail arranging/coordinating maintenance, repair and service of compactors and front - loading containers. 4. The selected vendor will provide all front- loading containers. Existing units will be removed and delivered to the City Yard for either scrap or potential refurbishment. |
