Description | Basic scope of services shall include all phases of design, including a comprehensive pre-design and programming, construction document preparation, bidding, construction administration and commissioning. The Town will provide front-end documents, bid announcements, and project oversight. The Town emphasizes that building improvements do not happen very often and should consider the best long range strategy for the facility including energy efficiency, reduced greenhouse gas emissions, indoor air quality, and ease of operation and maintenance. 1. Design demolishing of existing Bathroom Facility including existing site utilities. 2. Evaluate existing site conditions to determine the best location for the new Bathroom Facility. 3. The Town has a similar but smaller Bathroom Facility and would like to keep with the same basic design. 4. Design new Bathroom Facility with 4 individual gender neutral bathrooms and storage with all new site utilities. 5. New Bathroom Facility’s plumbing and mechanicals are to be all electric with the energy efficient equipment eliminating the need for any fossil fuel equipment. 6. This is a seasonal building and winterization of plumbing lines will need to be considered. Lines pitched back to a central low point and an air connection for blowing lines out. 7. Re-connected all existing site utilities from new building to existing devices (splash pad, site lighting, etc.) 8. Building and adjacent site must designed to ADA Compliance. 9. Submit all paperwork required for available incentives and grants. 10. Conformance to all Federal, State and local codes. |
