| Description | The work under this contract includes, but is not limited to, replacement of the bus wash system and associated mechanical and electrical equipment. In addition to the bus wash system replacement, this design includes the replacement of the compressed air and central vacuum systems. The roof access ladder will be replaced with a code compliant installation. The wash bay, service bay, and maintenance bay lighting systems and the building compressed natural gas (CNG) detection system will also be upgraded. The worn wash bay wall and floor finishes will be replaced. In the service bay (preceding the wash bay), the “sidewalk” curbs will be notched in six places to accommodate the portable vehicle lifts, and the entire floor will be recoated. The walls in this service bay will not be repainted. An Add Alternate will provide for the floor finish in the bus bays. |
