RFQ/P Construction Manager at Risk - Medical Examiner Facility Expansion

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation desires to expand their medical examination capacity and capabilities at their main headquarters facility located in Decatur. The existing facility must maintain operations during the expansion effort and meet the following stated needs: o Increase intake cooler space o Increase the Main Autopsy o Add Special Autopsy for BSL3/Decomp o Increased office space for doctors o Increase DIS office space o Create a secure space for Evidence Accessioning and Storage o Create more Supply and Storage space o Create a training area Pathologist development o Improve workflow and doctor support The Georgia State Financing and Investment Commission (GSFIC), as "Owner", on behalf of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation ("Using Agency" or "GBI"), is seeking firms interested in providing construction management at-risk services for a project Medical Examiner Facility Expansion, at the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) Medical Examiner's Office in Decatur, Georgia. c. Deadline for finalist submission of written questions and requests for clarification 11/30/2022 2:00 PM d. Deadline for submission of Qualifications Proposals 1/10/2023 2:00 PM The Owner reserves the right to disqualify a proposer from the selection process due to a failure by a proposer to arrive for the site visit by the scheduled time. Failure to attend a mandatory site visit will automatically result in disqualification from the selection process. Question Deadline 01/05/2023 at 2:00 PM ET The Design Professional's services are anticipated to commence by December 2022 with construction documents anticipated for completion in December 2023. The start of construction is anticipated to start after the completion of the construction documents and is contingent on the availability of funding.
