| Description | Fire Extinguisher Inspections (SA) - Contractor must carry appropriate licenses and/or certifications providing authorization to perform scheduled programmed maintenance and testing to a variety of brands/types/sizes/variations of fire extinguishers. All programmed maintenance and testing shall be per NFPA 10. Wake County Public Schools has approximately 10,800 fire extinguishers of varying sizes in its inventory. Extinguishers are inspected and maintained on a code required 6 year cycle. Contractor is expected to provide maintenance, inspection, and recharging of approximately 1800 extinguishers of various sizes and type per year. Must provide pick/up delivery service at 25 locations or provide a drop-off site within Wake County. |
